What we do

The Poway High Science boosters was started in 1995 as a 501-c3 Charity to support science at PHS. We are a non-profit organization dedicated to fundraising that will imporve science and science instruction at Poway High School. 100% of the money we recieve through donation solicitations goes into the classroom. No Salaries, No hidden costs or charges, 100% learning. The teachers at PHS work hard to bring students dynamic and engaging curriculm and deserve the support of the community to keep up their good work. Our API score is evidence of the good work they do. But the best evidence of all is the excellent science education the students get at PHS and the number of students who go on to study science in college and beyond.

As a 501C-3 Charity your donations are 100% tax deductible and you will receive a receipt with your tax id number on it after your donation.

Another way to help

Do you sell on ebay? Ebay sellers can choose to give some or all of their proceeds to charity. Poway High Science Boosters and powayscience.org are registered with ebay and available for charitable giving. Spread the word and give a litte from each sale. Thanks
 
 
 

How you can help

You can help by clicking on your childs subject and making a donation to sponsor a lab. You can donate anonymously, or you can have your name attached to the lab so others can see how you support science at PHS. The monetary values associated with each lab are a suggestion of a donation based on what it costs to run the experiment each year. Feel free to give more!

Why it matters
Each section or class of science recieves about $50.00/year to buy all of our supplies, from replacing worn out equipment to buying chemicals that are consumed every year. This just isn't enough money to deliver the type of instruction you have come to expect for your children. To do real science takes money, and it takes a continous supply of money each and every year to do the experiments and provide the experience that are important to you and your children.
